How fast can you actually get here?
For non-emergency work, typically two to four hours if you call before noon. For no-cooling in a heatwave or no-heat in a cold snap, we dispatch immediately, 24/7. Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and Culver City usually see us fastest.
What does an AC repair cost in Los Angeles?
Most repairs land between $150 and $650. Capacitor replacement runs $180–$280, refrigerant recharge $250–$500, thermostat replacement $200–$400. The $95 diagnostic is waived when you approve the repair.
Is it worth repairing or should I replace?
Rule of thumb: if the system is over twelve years old and the repair quote passes $2,000, replacement usually wins on total cost. We will tell you honestly which side of that line you are on — including when the answer costs us the bigger job.
Do you work on heat pumps?
Yes, and they are our recommendation for most LA homes. One system handles heating and cooling, and current SoCalGas and LADWP rebates can cover 30–40% of installation. We file the paperwork for you.
